Crunchyroll To Stream Spy x Family Season 2

If you were wondering which (non-Asian) streaming platform Spy x Family Season 2 would be available on, Crunchyroll has announced its acquisition of the show as well as an October 7 premiere date. There’s also an English-subtitled trailer:

Spy x Family is based on the Shueisha-published manga by Tatsuya Endou, which began serialization on Shonen Jump+ in 2019 and will release its 12th tankoubon volume on October 4, 2023. The first season of the Wit Studio and Cloverworks co-production aired in 2022 with two split cours, and an anime movie titled Spy x Family CODE: White is set to premiere on December 22 in Japan.

Viz Media describes the manga as:

Not one to depend on others, Twilight has his work cut out for him procuring both a wife and a child for his mission to infiltrate an elite private school. What he doesn’t know is that the wife he’s chosen is an assassin and the child he’s adopted is a telepath!

Spy x Family Season 2 has Season 1 director Kazuhiro Furuhashi (Dororo) co-directing with Takahiro Harada (Season 1 co-assistant director) and ceding series composition duties to Ichirou Ookouchi (Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch of Mercury), who will have two assistant series composers as well. Kazuaki Shimada remains the character designer.

Other staff include:

• Art director: Minami Usui (Fate/Grand Order: Final Singularity-Grand Temple of Time: Solomon co-art director)
• Color designer: Kyouko Hara (Horimiya Piece finishing staff)
• Compositing director: Yuuya Sakmua (Horimiya Piece, Season 1 assistant compositing director)
• Music producer: (K)NoW_NAME (Season 1)

Meanwhile, the main cast includes Takuya Eguchi as Loid Forger, Saori Hayami as Yor Forger, and Atsumi Tanezaki as Anya Forger.
