Secretlab Launches Cyberpunk Edgerunners Gaming Chair Sleeves

Gaming chair maker Secretlab has launched two Cyberpunk Edgerunners-inspired gaming chair sleeves as part of its Secretlab SKINS series. The sleeve designs of this Secretlab SKINS Cyberpunk: Edgerunners Collection are based on the 2022 anime’s heroine Lucy and the popular supporting character Rebecca.

The LUCY edition sleeve is largely based on Lucy’s stylish outfit, with the main body having not just the black of the Netrunner’s unitard but replications of its chest-area red accents as well. The pastel rainbow of Lucy’s hair is depicted on the side wings.

The sleeve’s backrest section depicts the moon and the Earth, a reference to the braindance scene of Lucy and protagonist David looking at our planet from the moon’s surface.

On the other hand, the REBECCA edition takes most of its design cues from the Solo’s pastel green hair and light pink tattoos. The back features Rebecca’s dual-wield firearms, while her PKDICK tattoo is featured on the side wing areas. Secretlab says that it has also reflected Rebecca’s “frenzied mix of red pupils and green irises” in the sleeve’s accent piping.

Secretlab launched the SKINS line for its Secretlab TITAN Evo chair in November 2022, with the machine-washable sleeves featuring a two-piece design and the company’s SoftWeave Plus fabric. Aside from standard color options, the product line also features designs based on various properties, including Naruto, Game of Thrones, and Star Wars. Before the Cyberpunk Edgerunners collection, Secretlab released a sleeve based on the Cyberpunk 2077 video game that inspired the anime. (The launch of the Cyberpunk Edgerunners sleeves coincides with the release of the game’s Phantom Liberty expansion.)

While there aren’t a lot of anime-inspired SKINS sleeves yet, the company has previously released gaming chairs with aesthetics inspired by titles like Jujutsu Kaisen, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, and Attack on Titan.
