BanG Dream! It’s MyGO!!!!! TV Anime Sequel Announced

The production team for the BanG Dream! It’s MyGO!!!!! anime series announced that a TV anime sequel titled BanG Dream! Ave Mujica is in production. The announcement was made after the 13th and final episode of the anime on September 14, 2023. 

BanG Dream! It’s MyGO!!!!! is the most recent entry in Bushiroad’s BanG Dream! media-mix project, which began in 2015 with a manga series. The anime first premiered during the Summer 2023 anime season on June 29, 2023. 

Koudai Kakimoto (BanG Dream! 2nd Season and 3rd Season) is directing the anime with Yuniko Ayana (BanG Dream! screenwriter) as series screenwriter and scriptwriter. Sanzigen is handling the animation production for the series. 

Meanwhile, the voice cast includes Hina Youmiya as Tomori (vocals), Rin Tateishi as Anon (guitarist), Hina Aoki as Rāna (guitarist), Mika Kohinata as Soyo (bassist), and Koko Hayashi as Taki (drums). 

BanG Dream! It’s MyGO!!!!! was announced as a band that synchronizes the real and the virtual. Ueta Kazuyuki (BanG Dream! Episode of Roselia I: Yakusoku and BanG Dream! Episode of Roselia II:Song I am character designer) provided the original character designs for the project while Shuzuku handled the illustrations. 

The first three BanG Dream! anime seasons were released in 2017, 2018, and 2020 respectively. HIDIVE streamed all three seasons. Several anime film and live performance compilations were released as well.

Crunchyroll is streaming BanG Dream! It’s MyGO!!!!! and describes the story as: 

The best way to fit in at a new school? Start a band! Anon has just transferred to Haneoka Girls’ Academy where girl bands are all the rage. But she started school late, so there aren’t many girls left to recruit. Then she meets her first friend and Haneoka’s misfit, Tomori, who’s hesitant to join. Still, Anon is determined to persuade Tomori and experience the true power of friendship and music.
