Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Sweep the Board! Comes to Nintendo Switch in 2024

SEGA announced that it will be releasing the Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- Sweep the Board! video game for the Nintendo Switch in 2024. Produced by Aniplex, the game will be available in the Americas and Europe. 

Sweep the Board! will see players explore a dynamic world designed like a board game. Each board features memorable locations from the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba anime series, including Mount Fujikasane and Asakusa. As the time-of-day changes from day and night, the spaces of each board changes, bringing new events and opportunities for players to engage in as they plan their next move.

Players can choose from a cast of characters such as Tanjiro Kamado, Zenitsu Agatsuma, Inosuke Hashibira, and nine Hashiras. The game features multiplayer action for up to four players at a time, either locally or online. Nezuko Kamado will also be available as a support character. 

Additionally, players can also try out fun mini-games, meet familiar characters, and work together to defeat dangerous demons. Fans can visit the official website for more information about the game.

Sweep the Board! is the second overall console game for the Demon Slayer franchise after Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles, which was released in Japan and in English in Asia in October 2021. The game was then launched later in North America and Europe on the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series, Xbox One, and PC via Steam. The Switch port was released in Japan and in English in June 2022.
