Giant plush brand Doqute has opened pre-order reservations for a series of giant Kyoto Animation plushies from series such as Tamako Market, Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions!, Hyouka, Beyond the Boundary, and Sound! Euphonium!.
Each plush character measures at approximately 100cm (39 inches) tall and only a limited total of 100 plushies will be made. Only one plushy will be sold per person.
The big Dera plush will cost 33,000 yen (US$226.61) with tax, while plushies for Rikka, Kumiko, Reina, Mirai, and Eru will cost 66,000 yen (US$453.26) with tax.
In addition, a promotional lottery campaign is currently being held on Taito Toys’ official Twitter account, running from August 12, 2023 to September 15, 2023. One lucky person will receive one big plush if they win the lottery. The lottery prize being given out will be cycled throughout the giveaway period, with Dera being given away between August 18-21 and Rikka from August 25-28.
The pre-orders for the giant plushies have opened just ahead of the upcoming “KYOANI MUSIC FESTIVAL -Tokimeki no Kiseki-“ fan appreciation event. The event will be held on November 11, 2023 and November 12, 2023 at the main hall of Kyoto’s ROHM Theatre Kyoto. Live viewing of the event will be available at 80 theaters in Japan.
All five giant Kyoto Animation plushies can be pre-ordered on Doqute’s website.
