Weekly Shonen Jump has uploaded another music video under its “Jump MV” series, with the latest video centered on Hunter x Hunter and set to Japanese pop group Sakurazaka46’s “Start over!.”

The music video focuses on the growth and character arc of Killua and showcases scenes from both the anime adaptation and manga series. Additionally, “Start over!” marks the first time a song not used in the anime series was added. Shonen Jump later confirmed in the video’s comments that more of these music videos, paired with songs not used as an anime theme, will be created in the future.

The “Jump MV” series takes stories from Weekly Shonen Jump to make special music videos based on the chosen series’ manga panels. Previous music videos have been made for Jujutsu Kaisen’s “give it back” by Cö shu Nie, Naruto’s “Silhouette” by KANA-BOON, Dr. STONE’s “three primary colors” by PELICAN FANCLUB, Bleach’s “*Asterisk” by Orange Range, and more series.

The Hunter x Hunter manga recently returned from a lengthy hiatus in October 2022. It has since been moved to a periodic serialization in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump, starting from chapter 401 due to the health of creator Yoshihiro Togashi.

The manga inspired two TV anime adaptations in 1999 and 2011, along with several anime films, OVAs, and video games. The 2011 reboot anime can be streamed on Crunchyroll.
