Crunchyroll describes the synopsis of Tearmoon Empire as:

“I have… a head?! And… I’m young?!”

Twenty-year-old Princess Mia of the Tearmoon Empire, often scorned as the “selfish princess,” was executed by guillotine in a rebellion. Next thing she knew, she awoke in her own twelve-year-old body, with her own blood-stained diary that she kept before she was beheaded sitting next to her pillow. Given a second chance at life, Mia decides to rebuild the empire. For the sake of Tearmoon’s future? To save the people from starvation? For all the soldiers who lost their lives in the civil war? No! Everything she does in this life is for the sake of avoiding the guillotine! “F-For me, this should be a piece of cake!” Thus the useless, cowardly, self-serving princess brings about miracle after miracle in her great struggle to save herself in this altered-history fantasy.

Aquarion: Myth of Emotions will be the latest installment in the Aquarion series, which was created by veteran mecha designer Shouji Kawamori (Macross: Do You Remember Love? and Macross Delta: Zettai LIVE!!!!!! director, Eureka Seven mecha designer). Kawamori directed the first Aquarion series in addition to serving as one of its series screenwriters and mecha designers. He later took on the role of chief director on Aquarion Evol.

The original Aquarion anime, Genesis of Aquarion, aired in 2005 with 26 total episodes. It was later followed up with Aquarion Evol in 2012 and Aquarion Logos in 2015. All of the series were produced by Satelight. Eight Bit co-produced Aquarion Evol while C2C co-produced Aquarion Logos.

Crunchyroll describes the Aquarion anime series as:

Humanity is dominated by fear when the Shadow Angels invade after 12,000 years of slumber. There is hope, however—Mechanical Angel Aquarion, a fighting machine powered by the intertwined souls of pilots known as Elements. With prophecy being fulfilled, and the end of the world approaching, the last hope for the new century takes flight. For mankind to survive, one among the Elements must rise.
