Attack on Titan Final Season The Final Chapters Special 1 and My Hero Academia Season 6 are among the nominees of the 2023 HCA (Hollywood Critics Association) TV Awards’ Best Streaming Animated Series or TV Movie category.
The two anime titles, which are streamed by Crunchyroll in the US, are competing against Animaniacs (Hulu), Central Park (Apple TV+), Harley Quinn (Max), and Star Trek: Lower Decks (Paramount+). The awards ceremony will be held on August 13.
My Hero Academia Season 6‘s 23rd episode, “Deku vs. Class A,” served as the submission material for the show, Crunchyroll said in an email. The HCA TV Awards allows for “one video submission of a series or movie for consideration.”
To be eligible for nomination in the 2023 HCA TV Awards, a series or movie has to be released “on a broadcast network, cable, or streaming digital platform, in the United States, between June 1, 2022, and May 31, 2023.”
Attack on Titan Final Season The Final Chapters Special 1 debuted on Crunchyroll on March 3, while My Hero Academia Season 6 ran from October 2022 to March 2023.
