During its industry panel at Anime Expo 2023, Mangamo announced that it has exclusively licensed the Ugly Duckling of the Entertainment District and He Was My Brother manga series for its digital service. Release dates for the new series were not announced.

Mangamo also revealed that the release date for the first print volume of Mashiro‘s My Love Story With Yamada-kun at Lv999 will be on April 2, 2024. The company also confirmed that it has switched the manga’s title to My Love Story With Yamada-kun at Lv999 (it was previously titled Loving Yamada at Lv999!) to match with Crunchyroll’s localized title. The release will be published under Penguin Random House’s new INKLORE colophon imprint.

A new coin system will also be introduced on Mangamo. Readers can purchase 10 coins for US$1.00 to purchase the latest chapters of manga. This comes after the company received complaints for some of its licensed manga series that only offered a limited number of chapters. Mangamo staff stated that the coin system on its platform will assist the company in appeasing licensors, so the latest chapters can be offered as well.

Here are the details for the two new manga series joining Mangamo:
