The upcoming second season of Spy Classroom has received a main trailer and visual. A July 13 Japanese premiere date was also announced.

Season 1 aired from January 5 to March 30, with HIDIVE and Bilibili streaming the show outside of Japan.

Spy Classroom is an adaptation of the KADOKAWA-published light novel series written by Takemachi and illustrated by Tomari. The book series began in 2020 and will see the release of its 10th main volume on July 20. The light novels have also inspired manga adaptations, with the adaptation of the first volume also beginning in 2020.

Yen Press, which publishes both the light novels and manga in English, describes the former as:

Following a devastating military conflict, countries fight their wars in the shadows. One unusual spy, Klaus, has never failed on the job despite his quirks, and he is building a team to take on an Impossible Mission—one with over a 90 percent chance of failure. However, his chosen members are all washouts with no practical experience. They’ll have to use every trick in the book (and some that aren’t) to prove they’re up to the task!
