The upcoming Ultraman Final anime has received a full-length official trailer, showing more of protagonist Shinjiro Hayata’s upcoming struggles and action scenes involving the Ultramen.

Ultraman Final is set to drop on Netflix on May 11. The first two seasons of the anime, which is an adaptation of the Heroes-published manga series written by Eiichi Shimizu and drawn by Tomohiro Shimoguchi, debuted in 2019 and 2022.

The streaming platform describes the new season as:

As public sentiment turns against Ultraman, Shinjiro learns that his inherited powers may come with a heavy price, in this exciting series conclusion.

Kenji Kamiyama and Shinji Aramaki are reprising their director roles along with Nobuko Toda and Kazuma Jinnouchi as music composers and Production I.G and SOLA DIGITAL ARTS as the animation production studios. Meanwhile, M.A.O and Kouji Ishii are joining the cast as Valcure and Mephisto.

The Ultraman manga began in 2011 and has 19 tankoubon volumes as of January 2023. It is currently serialized on Comiplex and published under the Hero Comics label. Viz Media describes it as:

Shinjiro is an ordinary teenager, but his father is the legendary Shin Hayata. When he learns that his father passed on the “Ultraman Factor” to him and that he possesses incredible powers, nothing will ever be the same again.
