The first season aired from October 2020 to March 2021 with 24 episodes. The second season will begin in July and cover the “Gojo’s Past Arc” and the “Shibuya Incident Arc” with two consecutive cours.

Viz Media describes the manga as:

Although Yuji Itadori looks like your average teenager, his immense physical strength is something to behold! Every sports club wants him to join, but Itadori would rather hang out with the school outcasts in the Occult Research Club. One day, the club manages to get their hands on a sealed cursed object. Little do they know the terror they’ll unleash when they break the seal…

The Jujutsu Kaisen manga is serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump and published under the Jump Comics label. A prequel manga titled Jujutsu Kaisen 0 was first serialized in Jump GIGA in 2017 under a different title and later published as a single volume manga in November 2018. An anime movie adaptation of Jujutsu Kaisen 0 premiered in Japan on December 24 and became the country’s 16th top-grossing movie of all time.
