Love Live! Superstar!!’s Nako Misaki to Make Solo Artist Debut This July

Nako Misaki, who voices Chisato Arashi in Love Live! Superstar!! and is an active member of the school idol group Liella!, announced during her birthday event at Hulic Hall Tokyo that she will be making her solo debut on July 5 with Lantis.

As part of her initial steps as a solo artist, Misaki has opened an official YouTube channel, an artist website, and a staff Twitter account.

Misaki’s debut album will be released on July 5 in three different editions. Aside from the Standard Edition, there will be a Limited Edition, which features a Blu-ray disc containing exclusive music videos and other content, and a Nako’s Greeting Edition that is exclusive to members of her fan club The Nako’s Greeting Edition has special packaging and comes with a face towel as a special gift.

Misaki was born on March 8. Her nickname is Nakonako, and she has a previous stage name of Misaki Higashida. Misaki wanted to become a voice actress because she wanted to become someone other than herself, with the Love Live! series being one of the triggers. Her older sister introduced her to Love Live! while she was in middle school, which was also when she started playing School Idol Festival.
