A teaser trailer and visual for the Berserk of Gluttony anime adaptation have been released. It was also revealed that the anime will premiere sometime this year.
Additionally, Ryouta Oosaka and Tomokazu Seki were announced as the voices behind the characters Fate and Greed, respectively.
Berserk of Gluttony is based on the light novel series written by Isshiki Ichika and illustrated by fame. The story takes place in a world where skill is everything. Protagonist Fate is a lowly gatekeeper, whose Gluttony ability seemingly does nothing but make him hungry. However, Fate’s life changes when he accidentally kills a thief and discovers that his Gluttony ability allows him to take the skills and abilities of those he slays.
The series began in 2017 and inspired a manga adaptation by Daisuke Takino in 2018. Micro Magazine publishes the books, which have eight volumes as of October 2022, under its GC Novels label. A GCN Bunko label publication of the light novels began in 2021.
