Sacrificial Princess and the King of Beasts Gets New Trailer and Its Premiere Date

The Sacrificial Princess and the King of Beasts anime adaptation has received yet another trailer, which previews the opening song “Saku no Nie” by BIN in addition to new scenes. 

An April 19 (effectively April 20 at 12 AM JST) premiere date was also revealed.

Sacrificial Princess and the King of Beasts is based on the Hakusensha-published manga by Yuu Tomofuji, which began in 2015 and ended in 2020 with 15 tankoubon volumes. It was serialized in Hana to Yume and is published under the Hana to Yume Comics label. 

Yen Press describes the story as:

A young girl has resigned herself to being the next sacrificial meal for the Beast King…but the king is no mere monster! Love is more than skin-deep in this gorgeous fantasy manga.

Chiaki Kon (Sailor Moon Eternal) is directing the adaptation with Seishi Minakami (Sugar Apple Fairy Tale) as series composer, Shinya Hasegawa (Golden Time) as character designer, and Kohta Yamamoto (Attack on Titan The Final Season) as music composer. J.C.STAFF is the animation production company.
