TONIKAWA: Over the Moon For You Season 2 Announced For April 7 in New Trailer


Warner Bros. Japan announced the beginning broadcast date for TONIKAWA: Over the Moon For You Season 2 in a new anime trailer featuring the OP theme song by Neko Hacker with vocals by Akari Kitou, the voice of Tsukasa Yuzaki. The anime will begin broadcasting on April 7. 

Crunchyroll is streaming the series and describes it as:

Nasa Yuzaki falls in love at first sight after an encounter with the mysterious Tsukasa. When Nasa earnestly confesses his feelings, she replies, “I’ll date you, but only if we’re married.” Nasa and Tsukasa’s cute and precious newlywed life of love is about to begin!

Additional details will be revealed at AnimeJapan 2023 on March 25, 2023 at 11:00 AM JST at the Green Stage. Kitou and Junya Enoki, who voice Tsukasa Yuzaki and Nasa Yuzaki respectively, will be in attendance. 

The returning production staff from the first season includes Hiroshi Ikehata as director, Kazuho Hyoudou as series screenwriter, Masakatsu Sasaki as character designer, and Endou. as music composer. Seven Arcs is once again handling the animation production for the series. 

Besides Kitou and Enoki, the returning voice cast includes Yuu Serizawa as Kaname Arisugawa, Sumire Uesaka as Aya Arisugawa, and Konomi Kohara as Chitose Kaginoji.

TONIKAWA: Over The Moon For You is based on the manga of the same name by Hayate the Combat Butler creator Kenjirou Hata. The manga began serialization in Shogakukan’s Weekly Shonen Sunday on February 14, 2018 and has released 22 tankoubon volumes as of December 2022.
