Attack on Titan The Final Season Part 3 New Trailer Released

A new trailer for Attack on Titan The Final Season Part 3 has been released. The new video, which offers a longer preview of the anime’s conclusion, includes shots of the Colossal Titans’ advance and the Scouts facing Eren and Ymir in the Paths. 

The first part of Attack on Titan The Final Season Part 3 is set to premiere in Japan on March 3 (effectively March 4 at 12:25 AM JST) as a one-hour special. The second part is set to be released sometime this year.

Attack on Titan is an adaptation of the manga by Hajime Isayama, which began serialization in Kodansha’s Bessatsu Shounen Magazine in 2009 and ended in April 2021 with 34 tankoubon volumes. Kodansha describes the manga as:

A century ago, the grotesque giants known as Titans appeared and consumed all but a few thousand humans. The survivors took refuge behind giant walls. Today, the threat of the Titans is a distant memory, and a boy named Eren yearns to explore the world beyond Wall Maria. But what began as a childish dream will become an all-too-real nightmare when the Titans return and humanity is once again on the brink of extinction…

The returning Attack on Titan: Final Season staff for Attack on Titan: Final Season — Kanketsuhen includes Yuuichirou Hayashi as director, Hiroshi Seko as series composer, Tomohiro Kishi as character designer, Jun Shishido as chief episode director, Daisuke Niinuma as chief animation director, Kazuo Ogura as art director, Shigeki Asakawa as photography director, and Hiroyuki Sawano and Kohta Yamamoto as music composers. Returning from Part 2 are Itsuku Oonishi as color designer, Manabu Akita as another chief animation director, and Motoi Okunou and Subaru Ikeda as 3DCG directors.

The Attack on Titan anime adaptation began in 2013 and was originally produced by WIT STUDIO. After three seasons, Final Season saw MAPPA taking over as animation production studio. The first part of Attack on Titan: Final Season aired in 2021. 

The Attack on Titan franchise includes various spinoff manga, novels, games, and a two-part live-action Japanese film series.
