Seven Seas Entertainment Licenses Four Titles for Steamship Imprint

Seven Seas Entertainment has announced that it has licensed four new titles for its Steamship imprint, dedicated to sexy romance manga and light novels for women. The latest licenses include My Boss is a Giant: He Manages My Every Need With Enormous Skill!, I Can’t Refuse S, Revenge: Kaedama Kon, and Loyal Soldier, Lustful Beast. 

Here are the full details on the latest additions for Seven Seas’ Steamship imprint: 

The first license acquisition is KamuC’s My Boss is a Giant: He Manages My Every Need With Enormous Skill! sexy rom-com manga series. The manga ran in Love Parfait and Coolmic from May 28, 2018 to August 21, 2021. Two tankoubon have been released in total as of October 2021. 

The manga will be released for the first time in North America in January 2024 as one complete omnibus edition. It will be available in print and on digital platforms as part of the Steamship imprint.

Seven Seas describes the story as: 

Natsumi, also known as “Ham-chan,” hustles at a demanding office job like a hamster running in a wheel. Meanwhile, her boss Samejima is more like a shark. He’s handsome, sure, but he’s also imposing and scary…at least, until he confesses his feelings for her?! Natsumi is a little overwhelmed at seeing a vulnerable side to this gigantic man, especially since she doesn’t have a lot of experience in the love department, but she’s secretly thrilled to see more. Together, this big boss with a carnivorous appetite and the smaller woman who’s hungry for his love are ready to unleash their wild sides!

I Can’t Refuse S is a manga series written and illustrated by Ai Hibiki about a young woman learning the erotic arts from a handsome butler. It was serialized on Mobile Flower from November 20, 2017 to October 20, 2019. Six tankoubon volumes have been released in total as of January 2020.

The manga will be released in September 2023 as single large-trim editions under the Steamship imprint. 

Seven Seas describes the I Can’t Refuse S manga as: 

Miku is in a bind: her father has taken on too much debt, subjecting her family to so much work and stress that now her mother has fallen ill. Miku is willing to do what it takes to help her family, so she offers to become a wealthy benefactor’s mistress to raise the cash they need! Momoto launched the series in Shogakukan’s Cheese! magazine on August 1, 2020 until February 5, 2021. Four tankoubon volumes have been released as of March 2022.

The manga will be released in North America in November 2023 as single large-trim editions under the Steamship imprint.

The light novel will be released in North America in December 2023 on both print and digital platforms. It will be available as a single large-trim edition, which will be the first light novel release under the Steamship imprint. 

Seven Seas describes the synopsis as:
