Kodansha has launched a new manga portal site called Getsu Manga Kichi, which serves as a replacement for the digital magazine Monthly Shonen Magazine R.
Monthly Shonen Magazine R, which ended last month with its February issue, was the home to the source material of anime like 2021’s Peach Boy Riverside (the Kodansha-published manga is a remake), the currently airing My Life As Inukai-san’s Dog, and the upcoming Saint Cecilia and Pastor Lawrence (which was recently delayed from April to July). The manga that inspired those shows, which are from Coolkyousinnjya and Johanne, Gosei Furukawa, and Hazano Kazutake, respectively, can now be found on Getsu Manga Kichi.
Other former Monthly Shonen Magazine R titles that have moved over include:
• DYS CASCADE
• Tsuihou sareta Cheat Fuyo Majutsushi wa Kimama na Second Life wo Ouka suru. ~Ore wa Buki dake ja naku, Arayurumono ni “Kyousha Point” wo Fuyo dekiru shi, Ore no Ishi de Itsudemo Kouka wo Kaijo Dekiru kedo, Nokotta Hitotachi Daijoubu? ~ (The Exiled Cheating Magician Celebrates a Carefree Second Life. ~ I Can Give “Strenghtening Points” Not Just to Weapons, But to Everything, and I Can Cancel the Effect at Any Time at Will, But are The Rest Okay?)
