The Loving Yamada at Lv999! anime adaptation has received its first full trailer. Aside from more scenes of the lead characters, the new video previews siblings Eita Sasaki (Natsuki Hanae) and Runa Sasaki (Ai Kakuma).
Additionally, Clammbon’s mito and DÉ DÉ MOUSE (who previously collaborated on Wonder Egg Priority) were announced as the music composers for the show. A Valentine visual of the titular Akito Yamada was released as well.
Loving Yamada at Lvl999! is based on the manga by Mashiro, which began serialization in ComicSmart’s Ganma magazine in 2019. The tankoubon volumes are published under Kadokawa’s MFC label, with six volumes released as of October 2022.
Mangamo describes the plot as:
Recently dumped, Akane is just about to quit the game she used to play with her boyfriend, when she meets Yamada in the same RPG. Yamada in real life turns out to be somewhat of a legend. The only problem is – he is ONLY interested in the game. As Akane’s feelings grow, will Yamada’s focus stay on the game?
Morio Asaka (Chihayafuru) is directing the anime with Kunihiko Hamada (Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card) as character designer, and Yasuhiro Nakanishi (A Couple of Cuckoos) as series composer. Madhouse is the animation production company.
Inori Minase and Kouki Uchiyama are voicing main pair Akane Kinoshita and Akito, respectively.
