The Boruto: Naruto Next Generations anime has received a new visual that features the cyborg Eida, with Boruto and Kawaki behind her, ahead of the start of its new arc.

Boruto: Naruto Next Generations has been airing since April 2017. It is based on the Shueisha-published manga that serves as a sequel to Naruto, with Naruto’s titular son being the new main character.

The series is currently directed by Masayuki Kouda (Naruto Shippuden storyboarder and episode director et al.) with Noriyuki Abe (Episodes 1-104 chief director) as animation supervisor, Ukyou Kodachi (writer of Boruto volumes 1-13) as story supervisor, Masaya Honda (Naruto Shippuden Episodes 709~714) as series composer, and Tetsuya Nishio (Naruto) and Hirofumi Suzuki (Naruto) as character designers. Pierrot is the animation production company.

The cast includes Yuuko Sanpei as Boruto, Kokoro Kikuchi as Sarada Uchiha, Ryuuichi Kijima as Mitsuki, and Yuuma Uchida as Kawaki.

The Boruto manga, which is illustrated by Mikio Ikemoto, began in May 2016 in Weekly Shonen Jump before moving to V Jump monthly magazine in July 2019. Naruto creator Masashi Kishimoto took over as writer from volume 14. 19 tankoubon volumes have been published as of February 2023.
