The AI no Idenshi anime will begin airing sometime in July, it has been announced.

Some preview images were also released.

AI no Idenshi is based on the Akita Shoten-published science fiction manga by Kyuuri Yamada, which ran from 2015 to 2017 with eight tankoubon volumes. Set in the near future, the story follows new doctor Hikaru and revolves around the medical treatment of the artificial humanoids.

The anime’s staff includes Yuuzou Satou (Police in a Pod) as director, Ryuunosuke Kingetsu (Police in a Pod) as series composer and scriptwriter, Kei Tsuchiya (Police in a Pod) as character designer, and Takashi Ohmama (Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch of Mercury) and Natsumi Tabuchi (I’m the Villainess, So I’m Taming the Final Boss co-composer) as music composers. Madhouse is the animation production company.

The Ai no Idenshi manga was serialized in Weekly Shonen Champion and is published under the Shonen Champion Comics label. It was later followed by 2017 to 2019’s AI no Idenshi: Red Queen and the ongoing AI no Idenshi: Blue Age.
