Netflix has revealed the first teaser visual for its upcoming live-action One Piece television series, which will premiere sometime in 2023. The new visual showcases the back of Luffy as he raises his fist in the air.

The main cast for the live-action One Piece show includes Iñaki Godoy as Luffy, Mackenyu as Roronoa Zoro, Emily Rudd as Nami, Jacob Romero Gibson as Usopp, and Taz Skylar as Sanji. Additional cast members consist of Peter Gadiot as Shanks, Morgan Davies as Koby, Alexander Maniatis as Klahadore, Steven Ward as Mihawk, Craig Fairbrass as Chef Zeff, Langley Kirkwood as Captain Morgan, Celeste Loots as Kaya, and Chioma Umeala as Nojiko.
The showrunners are Steven Maeda (Pan Am) and Matt Owens, with Netflix, Tomorrow Studios, and Shueisha as the production companies.
Eiichirou Oda first published his One Piece manga series on July 22, 1997 and has released 104 tankoubon volumes as of November 2022. It is serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine under the Jump Comics imprint.

An anime television series first began in 1999 and surpassed the 1000th episode mark on November 21, 2021. The franchise has also spawned various video games, manga, light novels, stage plays, and spin off media.
