The production team for the Ensemble Stars franchise announced that the Ensemble Stars!! Tsuioku Selection “Element” anime will stream on YouTube on April 6, 2023. A special pre-screening event will be held for the 3DCG web anime on April 2, 2023 at the Tokyo Garden Theater. The voice cast members involved in the anime will be in attendance.
The 3DCG anime project is based on the “Element” story in the Ensemble Stars!! game during the “Reminiscence: Gathering of the Three Magicians” event. A teaser PV trailer was released on September 2022.
Osamu Yamasaki (Seirei Gensouki: Spirit Chronicles) is directing the anime, with Shinichi Inotsume (JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure) as screenwriter and scriptwriter. Akira (Ensemble Stars!) is credited with the original story and Kenji Kawai (Ghost in the Shell) is the music composer. DandeLion Animation Studio is in charge of the animation production.
The voice cast for Tsuioku Selection “Element” features members from the Five Eccentrics and (Past) fine musical groups. They will consist of:

The 24-episode Ensemble Stars!! television anime adaptation aired from July 7, 2019 to December 22, 2019 and is currently streaming on Crunchyroll. The franchise has also inspired numerous manga, novels, stage musical adaptations, and CDs. A new theatrical anime film, Ensemble Stars!! Road to Show!!, premiered in Japanese theaters on March 4, 2022.
The original Ensemble Stars! mobile game was released in 2015 in Japan. An English version featuring music from the series was launched as an app for iOS and Android devices in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, and Australia among others in June 2022.
