A new trailer has been released for The Aristocrat’s Otherworldly Adventure: Serving Gods Who Go Too Far anime adaptation. It includes a preview of the ending song “Nanairo no Enogu de” by 7LAND.

The Aristocrat’s Otherworldly Adventure: Serving Gods Who Go Too Far is set for an April premiere. It is based on the light novels written by Yashuu and illustrated by nini (Yotsuba illustrated the first volume). The light novel series, which is published under Hifumi Shobo’s Saga Forest label, began in 2017 and will release its seventh volume this August.

The light novels have inspired a Mag Garden-published manga adaptation by Nini, a Hifumi Shobo-published manga spin-off from Akane Sasaki, and a manga anthology (also from Hifumi Shobo). Mo is credited with the original character designs for the adaptation and spin-off. The story began as a web novel on Shousetsuka ni Narou in 2016.

Seven Seas Entertainment describes the manga, which it publishes as Chronicles of an Aristocrat Reborn in Another World, as:

Teenager Shiinya Kazuya died while saving young girls from an attacker, only to find himself reincarnated into a world of swords and magic. It was a dream come true! Though he remembers his life and knowledge of Earth, he is now Cain von Silford, the third son of an aristocrat. Being granted the protection of the gods on his fifth birthday turned out to be too much of a good thing for Cain. His stats and boosts are so powerful, he must hide his real abilities to climb the ranks of society as he descends into the darkest dungeons. The ultimate isekai adventure begins as a teen-turned-child is trapped in a beautiful kingdom he didn’t create, but might one day rule!

Noriyuki Nakamura (Shoot! Goal to the Future) is directing the anime with Eri Tokugawa (Rainy Cocoa sideG) as character designer, Natsuko Takahashi (Farewell, My Dear Cramer) as series composer, and MICHIRU (Dance Dance Danseur) as music composer. EMT Squared and Magic Bus are co-producing the show. Meanwhile, the cast includes Yoshino Nanjou as Cain von Silford, Miharu Hanai as Reine Terra Esfort, and Natsu Yorita as Silvia von Santana.

Melvyn originally wanted to write about video games, so he spent a few years, starting from his college days, doing so. He still likes video games, but now focuses on writing anime-related news content and the occasional review for Anime Trending. Some of his free time is spent self-learning Japanese, both out of interest in the language and because English-translated light novels and manga are expensive.
