A full-length trailer and new visual have been released for the Yuri Is My Job! anime, with both featuring the main supporting cast in addition to the lead duo. The trailer previews the ending theme “Yume ga Samete mo” by Yui Ogura and Sumire Uesaka as their respective characters Hime Shirasagi and Mitsuki Ayanokoji as well.
It was also revealed that the anime will begin airing in April.
Yuri Is My Job! is based on the Ichijinsha-published manga by Miman. Kodansha USA describes the story as:
Hime is a picture-perfect high school princess—she’s admired by all and never trips up! So when she accidentally injures a café manager named Mai, she’s willing to cover some shifts to keep her facade intact. To Hime’s surprise, the café is themed after a private school where the all-female staff always puts on their best act for their loyal customers. However, under the guidance of the most graceful girl there, Hime can’t help but blush and blunder! Beneath all the frills and laughter, Hime feels tension brewing as she finds out more about her new job and her budding feelings …
The anime is directed by Hijiri Sanpei (Wasteful Days of High School Girls director, Citrus assistant director) with Takashi Ikehata (Higurashi: When They Cry – Gou and Sotsu) as assistant director, Taisuke Iwasaki (Higurashi: When They Cry – Gou and Sotsu co-sub character designer) as character designer, KLAS’ Yukako Ogawa (Sword Art Online: Alicization — War of Underworld) and Yuri Takagi (Megaton Musashi) as art directors, Arisa Komatsu (Onipan!) as color designer, Studio Twinkle’s Suguru Shiga (WASIMO) as photography director, and Megumi Oohashi (Okami-san and Her Seven Companions) as music composer. Passione and STUDIO LINGS are producing the show.
Meanwhile, the cast includes Minami Tanaka as Kanoko Amamiya, Makoto Koichi as Sumika Tachibana, Yukari Tamura as Mai Mikoshiba, and Asami Seto as Nene Saionji.
