A Christmas-themed key visual has been released for the I’m in Love with the Villainess yuri anime series. The new seasonal visual features Claire in a Santa Claus outfit and Rae in a reindeer costume. 

The main voice cast is headlined by Yuu Serizawa as Rei Taylor and Karin Nanami as Claire Francois.

The anime production team consists of Hideaki Ooba as director, Ayumu Hisao as series screenwriter and scriptwriter, and Youko Satou as character designer. Mazica Party‘s Noriyuki Asakura and Usagi to Uma are composing the musical score. Platinum Vision is handling the animation production. 

The I’m in Love with the Villainess light novels are written by Inori and illustrated by Hanagata, originating as a web novel on Shousetsuka ni Narou from January 14, 2018 to February 21, 2021. Ichijinsha began publishing the series in physical form from February 26, 2019 to August 26, 2021, with five physical volumes released in total. A manga adaptation from Ichijinsha was also released in 2020. A spinoff light novel series titled She’s so Cheeky for a Commoner! was released on February 28, 2022.

Seven Seas Entertainment releases the I’m in Love With The Villainess light novel and manga series in English, as well as the spinoff series. It describes the story as:

Ordinary office worker Ohashi Rei wakes up in the body of the protagonist of her favorite otome game, Revolution. To her delight, the first person to greet her is also her favorite character, Claire Francois—the main antagonist of the story! Now, Rei is determined to romance Claire instead of the game’s male leads. But how will her villainous ladylove react to this new courtship?!
