The JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure manga was first launched in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine on January 1, 1987. The series was then transferred to Ultra Jump in 2005 and is currently made up of eight parts, with each following a character with similar names to JoJo. The various stories featured in the series have recurring characters and connected storylines. Viz Media releases the various manga series in English for North America.

A spinoff manga series called Thus Spoke Rohan Kishibe was launched on July 7, 1997 and has been published irregularly in several magazines. Two tankoubon volumes have been released in total so far. It has also been adapted in several episodic OVAs and a live-action mini-series.

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure has also inspired numerous anime adaptations, with the most recent being JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean. The anime series was launched from December 1, 2021 to December 1, 2022 on Netflix, who licensed the series for a worldwide release. “There are things in this world that are more terrifying than death, and what’s happening in this prison is definitely one of them.”

A message from a mysterious boy who appears before Jolyne, inexplicable events that occur one after another, the horrifying truth told to her by her father when he comes to visit, and the name DIO… Will Jolyne ultimately be set free from this stone ocean they call a prison? The final battle to end the century-long, fateful confrontations between the Joestar family and DIO begins!!
