Crunchyroll Games has announced that the original mobile game Bloodline: The Last Royal Vampire is launching a crossover collaboration with the Chainsaw Man anime series from December 20, 2022 through to early January 2023.
Bloodline: The Last Royal Vampire is a retro-style mobile JRPG game based on Bloodline, a popular Chinese graphic novel. The game is available worldwide on iOS and Android, excluding Asia. The game previously hosted a collaboration with Attack on Titan.
The crossover collaboration with Chainsaw Man brings characters like Denji, Power, and Aki into the world of Bloodline in pixel form. Players who join on December 19, 2022 can get a free head start collecting these powerful characters. Characters are collected through currency which the game is giving away to all players who join the day before the crossover event begins.
During the Chainsaw Man crossover, players can:
- • Collect exclusive characters that are more powerful than any other in the game to date.
- • Collect a special outfit for Chainsaw Man’s Denji.
- • Update your public profile image with exclusive cosmetic items from the event, including unique character images and player profile portraits and frames.
- • Log into the game daily for valuable rewards, including currency to help players collect the featured characters faster.
Developed by Shanda Shengqu Games, Bloodline: The Last Royal Vampire follows the Last Royal Vampire Lilo and her companion Ren in their quest to save their loved ones from a militaristic order called the Holy Land. Players build their own squad of warriors, heroes, and fantastical creatures to defeat exorcists, hunters, as well as vicious demons, and many powerful beings pulling the strings from the shadows. The anime-styled mobile role-playing card game features hundreds of characters and customization, allowing for a roster of heroes that is distinctly unique to each player.
Crunchyroll is streaming Chainsaw Man as it airs in Japan and describes the story as:
Denji is a teenage boy living with a Chainsaw Devil named Pochita. Due to the debt his father left behind, he has been living a rock-bottom life while repaying his debt by harvesting devil corpses with Pochita.
One day, Denji is betrayed and killed. As his consciousness fades, he makes a contract with Pochita and gets revived as “Chainsaw Man” — a man with a devil’s heart.
