Me & Roboco Unveils New Anime PV Trailer

The production team for the currently airing Me & Roboco comedy anime has unveiled a new PV trailer featuring many of the series’ characters. The anime premiered on December 4, 2022 and consists of five-minute episodes.  

The voice cast is headlined by Shun Matsuo (from the comedy duo Chocolate Planet) as Roboco, Minami Tsuda as Bondo, Ryoutarou Okiayu as Gachi-Gorilla, Shunsuke Takeuchi as Hotsuo, M.A.O as Madoka, and Kotono Mitsuishi as Bondo’s mother.

Akitarou Daichi (Ojamaru) is directing the short anime series with Michihiro Satou (Delicious Party Precure episode director) as assistant director, Sayuri Ooba (The Demon Girl Next Door Season 2 scriptwriter) as series screenwriter, Yuuko Ebara (Yu-Gi-Oh!  VRAINS animation director) as character designer, Koyama Manami (Don’t Hurt Me, My Healer) as art director, Ayami Minowa (Yu-Gi-Oh: VRAINS) as color designer, and Reina Tanimato as director of photography. Gallop is in charge of the animation production. 

The original gag manga by Shuuhei Miyazaki was first launched in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine on July 6, 2020. The series is published under the Jump comics label and has released 11 tankoubon volumes as of December 2022.

Viz Media releases the Me & Roboco manga in English and describes the premise as:

Now that Bondo has his very own OrderMaid, it’s time to show her off to his friends. But will they be able to handle Roboco? And what exactly is the secret behind this special robot?!
