The production team of Don’t Toy With Me, Miss Nagatoro 2nd Attack has released a new visual of the titular character’s older sister, Anetoro (voiced by Yoshino Nanjou). The anime features Anetoro with a subtle smirk. The first two episodes will stream back-to-back in Japan on January 7, 2023 as part of ABEMA’s one-week streaming lead.
Nanjou joins a voice cast consisting of Sumire Uesaka as Nagatoro-san, Daiki Yamashita as Senpai, Mikako Komatsu as Gamo-chan, Aina Suzuki as Yoshi, Shiori Izawa as Sakura, and Nana Mizuki as Buchou.

The new production staff for the second season includes Shinji Ushiro (Mazica Party, Tomica Bond Combination Earth Granner, Yokai Watch) as director, Taku Kishimoto as series screenwriter and scriptwriter, Misaki Suzuki as character designer, Makoto Shiraishi (Beyblade Burst Superking) as art director, Naoto Kondou (Mazica Party) as color designer, and Tatsumi Yukiwaki (Mazica Party) as photography director. Gin (Busted Rose) is returning as the series music composer and OLM is the new animation production company.
The first season of Don’t Toy with Me, Miss Nagatoro ran from April 2021 to June 2021 with 12 total episodes. Crunchyroll streamed the anime series as it aired in Japan.

Nanashi’s original manga is serialized on Magazine Pocket and published under the Kodansha Comics label. It first began on November 1, 2017 and has 14 tankoubon volumes as of August 2022. A 15th volume will be released on January 6, 2023.
Kodansha USA releases the manga in English and describes the story as:
Nagatoro is a freshman in high school who loves teasing and torturing her older male classmate! What’s her motivation and why does Senpai put up with her? Does Nagatoro just want to create misery for Senpai? Or maybe she secretly likes him?
