FLAGLIA Anime Adds Additional Voice Cast Members & Amazon Prime Video Streaming

The production team for the upcoming FLAGLIA ~Natsuyasumi no Monogatari~ anime project has revealed additional voice cast members joining the 6-episode series. The short television anime will air on back-to-back 30-minute time slots each day in 2023, beginning with the first two episodes on January 16, episodes three and four on January 23, and episodes five and six on January 30. 

FLAGLIA will also stream worldwide on Amazon Prime Video on February 1, 2022 after its initial television broadcast.

The additional voice actors for the secondary cast includes Mark Ishii as Tagi, Junya Enoki as Ren, Takeo Ootsuka as Meru, Seiichirou Yamashita as Kanchi, Kensuke Nishi as Hash, Youhei Azakami as Tetsu, Yoshitaka Yamaya as Rabu, Eiji Takeuchi as Nitta, Takuya Masumoto as Marie, Takugo Iwakawa as Jango, and Katsunori Okai as Mythril. 

They all join a main voice cast headlined by singer/actor Yoshikuni Dohchin as Yuku, SUPERNOVA’s Yoon Hak as Adele, Shunichi Toki as Silver, and Hiromi Igarashi as Iko. Dohchin and Yoon Hak will also be starring in FLAGLIA’s musical. 

Itsurou Kawasaki (The Yakuza’s Guide to Babysitting, Magical Girl Ore) is directing the anime series. Other staff members include ziwataneho (Senpai to Boku: Soumubu Shanai Kouanka illustrator) as original character designer, novelist Madoka Takadono (Gun Princess) as original creator and scriptwriter, and Eriko Itou (Farewell, My Dear Cramer) as character designer. Studio Gaina is in charge of the animation production.

A musical of FLAGLIA is also scheduled to take place at the Nippon Seinenkan Hall from February 3 to February 9, 2023. It will be directed by Tsuneyasu Motoyoshi and titled FLAGLIA the Musical ~Yukitekaerishi Monogatari~. The musical will take place in the Middle Ages while the anime will be set during the present time. Takadono is also writing the screenplay for the musical.
