Princess Principal: Crown Handler 3 Has a Release Date, Trailer

The third Princess Principal: Crown Handler movie has finally received a trailer and release date, the latter being April 7, 2023. There is also a key visual for the film, dominated by a sinister-looking Prince Richard.

Princess Principal: Crown Handler 3‘s opening theme will be “LIES & TIES” by Void_Chords feat. Yui Mugino. Meanwhile, the ending theme is “Nowhere Land” by Aoi KogaAkira SekineYou TaichiAkari Kageyama, and Nozomi Furuki as their respective characters Ange, Princess, Dorothy, Beatrice, and Chise.

The new film’s plot will involve the succession of the Albion throne following the assassination of Edward, who was the its first successor. The remaining candidates are Mary (Rina Endou), who is second in line to the throne, and Richard (Kazuyuki Okitsu), who is third in line.

Like the first two Crown Handler instalments, the staff includes Masaki Tachibana as director, Noboru Kimura as series composer and scriptwriter, Kimitake Nishio as chief animation director, Nishio and Yukie Akiya as character designers, and Kouhaku Kuroboshi as original character designer. Also returning are Fumihiro Katagai as mechanical designer, Miho Sugiura as art director, Yuu Wakabayashi as photography director, Yuuko Tsumori as color designer, and Yuki Kajiura as music composer. Actas is in charge of the animation production.

Princess Principal: Crown Handler Chapter 3 is part of a series of six planned movies that serve as sequels to 2017’s Princess Principal TV anime series. The movies and series follow a team of spies in an alternate 19th century where the Kingdom of Albion is divided into East and West by a giant wall.
