The My Life as Inukai-san’s Dog anime has received “wonderful” versions of its second visual and trailer. The former depicts its main female characters in swimsuits, while the latter removes some of the censorship that was in the original video.

My Life as Inukai-san’s Dog is set to premiere on January 6 (effectively January 7 at 1:35 AM JST) in Japan. It is based on the manga by Gosei Furukawa that began in 2020 and released its sixth tankoubon volume in August 2022.

The erotic comedy revolves around a student who wakes up to discover that he has become the literal pet dog of his classmate, the cool beauty Inukai-san. The first-person perspective manga is serialized in Kodansha’s Monthly Shonen Magazine R digital magazine and published under the KC Deluxe label.

Takashi Andou is directing the My Life as Inukai-san’s Dog adaptation with Hisashi Saito (Miss Kuroitsu from the Monster Development Department director) as visual director, Kazuaki Morita (Classroom of the Elite Season 1 and 2) as character designer, and marble’s Tatsuya Kikuchi as music composer. Quad is producing the show.
