Cygames has announced the production of a new original anime series called THE MARGINAL SERVICE. The anime is scheduled to premiere sometime in 2023 and has released a new teaser visual and PV trailer featuring its main characters. No official synopsis has been provided as of yet.
The production team for the anime series also announced its main voice actors, who have all been cast in undisclosed roles. They include Kouki Uchiyama, Hiro Shimono, Tomokazu Sugita, Yuuichi Nakamura, Kaori Nazuka, Shinichirou Miki, Mamoru Miyano, and Toshiyuki Morikawa.
Meanwhile, the production staff for THE MARGINAL SERVICE will include Masayuki Sakoi (Cautious Hero: The Hero Is Overpowered but Overly Cautious) as director, Kenta Ihara (I’m the Villainess, So I’m Taming the Final Boss) as screenwriter, and Yoshio Kozakai (Fire Force chief animation director) as character designer. Studio 3Hz is in charge of the animation production.
Cygames has recently been involved in the production for several high profile anime series such as the currently airing Akiba Maid War, Uma Musume Pretty Derby, Zombie Land Saga, and Princess Connect! Re:Dive among others. The company has collaborated with P.A Works, Avex Pictures, and many more partners.
