The official website and Twitter account for the Why Raeliana Ended Up at the Duke’s Mansion anime television series has revealed a new key visual, PV trailer, voice cast, production staff, and ending theme song for the series. The anime will also premiere sometime in April 2023.
The main voice cast for Why Raeliana Ended Up at the Duke’s Mansion consists of Yume Miyamoto as Raeliana McMillan/Rinko Hanasaki (known as Eunha Park in the original manhwa), Yuuichirou Umehara as Noah Voltaire Wynknight, Shuuichirou Umeda as Adam Taylor, Shunichi Toki as Keith Westernberg, Akira Ishida as Heika Demint, Tomokazu Sugita as Justin Shamal, Yumika Yano as Vivian Shamal, and Junichi Suwabe as Siatrich Newreal Chamos.
Musical artist SERRA is also performing the ending theme song “Always and Forever,” which is featured prominently in the trailer.
The production staff includes Junichi Yamamoto (Armor Shop for Ladies & Gentlemen, More Than a Married Couple, But Not Lovers) as director, Mitsutaka Hirota (Bibliophile Princess, The Prince of Tennis II, Rent-A-Girlfriend) as series screenwriter and scriptwriter, Haruna Hashimoto as character designer, Kio Edamatsu as prop designer, Kenji Kato as art director, and Chieko Hibi as color key artist. Yuzuru Funakoshi is the director of photography and Tetsuya Watanabe is handling the 3D CG for the series.
Other staff members consist of Yasunori Ebina as the sound director at Glovision and Keiji Inai (The Misfit of Demon King Academy, The Royal Tutor) as music composer. Lantis is producing the overall music for the series. Typhoon Graphics is in charge of the animation production.
The Korean manhwa comic was written by Milcha (who also wrote the original web novel) and illustrated by Whale. The series was released on the Piccoma website from September 3, 2017 to March 22, 2021 and has released seven physical volumes as of January 2022. The webtoon can be read in English on Tappytoon (with the title The Reason Why Raeliana Ended Up at the Duke’s Mansion). A video game adaptation was also released on Steam in 2021.
