A new 20-second PV trailer for Revenger has been released, featuring the main protagonist Raizo Kurima (voiced by Jun Kasama). The anime series is scheduled to premiere in January 2023. An animation studio and production staff have yet to be revealed for the series.
Other voice cast members include Yuuichirou Umehara as Yuen Usui, Shunsuke Takeuchi as Teppa Murakami, Hisako Kanemoto as Nio, and Shouta Hayama as Soji.
The Revenger anime was first announced this past September and involves the likes of Nitroplus and Shouchiku in production of the series.
Crunchyroll will stream the anime this coming winter. It describes the premise as:
As master assassin Usui Yuen looks into a series of assassinations made on the grand samurai clan, the Satsuma, he encounters Kurima Raizo, member and survivor of one of the attacks. Together, they discover the true nature of these murders is bigger than over stolen resources. As they get closer to the truth, will they come out alive to exact revenge?
