Seven Seas Entertainment has announced that it has licensed four new manga series that will be released in North America for the first time. The four titles include Lupin III (Lupin the 3rd): Thick as Thieves – The Classic Manga Collection, What He Who Doesn’t Believe in Fate Says, The Skull Dragon’s Precious Daughter, and Delinquent Daddy and Tender Teacher.
Here are the full details about each of Seven Seas’ newest license acquisitions:
The first license acquisition is the latest Lupin III manga collection, Lupin III (Lupin the 3rd): Thick as Thieves – The Classic Manga. The collection features some of the greatest stories by Monkey Punch about the mastermind thief after the release of the previous Lupin III (Lupin the 3rd): Greatest Heists – The Classic Manga in 2021.
The Thick as Thieves collection will be released in North America in July 2023 as a large-trim hardcover volume. It will also be available as an eBook on various digital platforms.

Another manga series that will be released is What He Who Doesn’t Believe in Fate Says by Omu the Rice. In this romance with a supernatural edge, a guy who can see the fated ties between soulmates falls for a woman who’s destined to be with someone else.
The supernatural romance manga series was first launched on pixiv’s Sylph online magazine on April 30, 2020. It will be released for the first time in English in June 2023 as single volume editions. The first volume will be available on both print and digital platforms.

Kosuke has an unusual ability: he can see the red string of fate that connects soulmates. Much to his misfortune, he falls in love with Yuka, whose string of fate clearly doesn’t lead back to him. Ichi Yukishiro’s The Skull Dragon’s Precious Daughter is a wholesome fantasy series about familial bonds that transcend species. The series was first launched in MAGCOMI magazine on September 25, 2020 and has been released digitally by J-Novel Club since August 10, 2022.
The first volume of the manga will be released in print for the first time in March 2023. The Skull Dragon’s Precious Daughter will be available for purchase as single volume paperback volumes.

Seven Seas will also release the Delinquent Daddy and Tender Teacher manga series by Tama Mizuki for the first time in North America. The series is described as a heartwarming Boys’ Love romance between a former “bad boy” single dad and the gentle teacher who takes care of his kid at school.
The series ran in Comic fleur magazine from June 8, 2016 to October 19, 2016. The first volume will be released in August 2023 and will be available as single volume editions. The series will be available on both print and digital platforms as part of Seven Seas BL label (Boys’ Love titles).
Seven Seas describes Delinquent Daddy and Tender Teacher as:
In high school, studious Hitsuji had a secret crush on one of his guy friends–a friendly delinquent named Hatoyama–but never confessed.
