Crunchyroll has announced several new Winter 2023 anime premieres at this year’s upcoming Anime NYC convention. The event will take place at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center from November 18-20, 2022. Additionally, attendees will also be able to interact with anime installations and Crunchyroll’s exciting panels.

Among the most anticipated events at Anime NYC 2022 is the U.S. premiere of Laid-Back Camp the Movie. Convention attendees will also have the chance to watch the debuts of several anime from the upcoming Winter 2023 season. These premieres will be presented through two rounds of panels that will feature:

  • • Tomo-chan Is a Girl!
  • • Don’t Toy With Me Miss Nagatoro 2nd Attack
  • • The Iceblade Sorcerer Shall Rule the World
  • • The Reincarnation of the Strongest Exorcist in Another World
  • • The Tale of Outcasts

Crunchyroll will also be hosting a panel for Mob Psycho 100 III featuring the Japanese voice of Shigeo “Mob” Kageyama, Setsuo Itou, who will be discussing his work on the third season.

In addition, Crunchyroll is also teaming up with Bandai Namco to give fans a sneak peek at That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime the Movie: Scarlet Bond alongside a panel featuring producers Kouhei Eguchi and Mika Iwahashi from 8bit and producer Bungo Kondou from Bandai Namco Filmworks. Theme song performer MindaRYN and Stereo Dive Foundation will close out the event with a special mini-concert for attendees.

On the show floor, attendees can enjoy two immersive Crunchyroll booths to interact with. The first booth (located at booth #526) will feature a Crunchyroll Hime statue against the “New Crunchy City” skyline with a variety of free swag, including drawstring bags for Chainsaw Man, BLUELOCK and Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out!, as well as paper headpieces resembling Denji/Chainsaw Man or Anya Forger from SPY x FAMILY. Fans can also take pictures at the Chainsaw Man photo op or create a family portrait in an apartment inspired by the Forger family home.

The second booth (located at booth #240) will host even more photo ops featuring Mob Psycho 100’s Divine Tree, a throne from That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime the Movie: Scarlet Bond, and the Jaeger family home’s basement from Attack on Titan: Final Season
