Hulu and Disney+ have announced that both services are now streaming the BLACK ROCK SHOOTER: DAWN FALL anime television series. The anime was previously listed with a release on Disney+ on October 19, 2022.
Hulu is streaming both an English subtitled and English dubbed version of the anime in the U.S. It is listed as a “Hulu Original Series” on the streaming service.
Meanwhile, Disney+ is streaming the anime in other regions outside the U.S. worldwide, including Canada, the United Kingdom, Japan, and Southeast Asia. The series streamed in Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand on April 30, 2022. It was also streamed in Australia, Hong Kong, New Zealand, Taiwan, and Singapore on May 25, 2022.
BLACK ROCK SHOOTER: DAWN FALL originally aired in Japan from April 3, 2022 to June 19, 2022. Bibury Animation Studios handled the animation production for the series.
Disney+ has also recently announced that it will stream The Tatami Time Machine Blues in November. Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War is also currently streaming on both Disney+ and Hulu. The platform also holds the streaming rights for Summer Time Rendering and Star Wars: Visions.

The year is 2062. Earth has been left in ruin after the failure of a labor automation project when the AI called Artemis waged war against humanity. A girl, Empress, awakens in a research lab. As one of the three surviving guardians, she must destroy the Orbital Elevator before Artemis can complete its construction. Failure will result in a machine army overrunning Earth. However, Artemis’ Unmanned Forces and a cult may have motives of their own.
