The Ice Guy and His Cool Female Colleague has received a release window of January 2023. It was also announced that Takao Sakuma is the artist for the anime’s opening song.

The Ice Guy and His Cool Female Colleague is based on the Square-Enix published romantic comedy manga by Miyuki Tonogaya, which began in 2019 and is serialized on Gangan Pixiv. Six tankoubon volumes have been released under the Gangan Comic Pixiv label as of June 2022.

Comikey describes The Ice Guy and His Cool Female Colleague as:

Himuro-kun is a living descendant of the Snow Woman from Japanese folklore. But anytime he’s around his eccentric yet kind colleague, Fuyutsuki-san, he totally freezes up! Despite the snowstorm of love that rages on in his heart, and her complete cluelessness, will he take a step forward or stay frozen in place?

Mankyuu (The Idolmaster Cinderella Girls Theater) is directing with Tomoko Konparu (Love All Play) as series composer, Miyako Karino (Dive!! main animator) as character designer, and Ruka Kawada (Kiniro Mosaic Thank you!!) as music composer. Zero-G is co-producing with Liber.

Meanwhile, the cast includes Yui Ishikawa as Fuyutsuki-san, Chiaki Kobayashi as Himuro-kun, Yumi Uchiyama as Komori-san, Kouki Uchiyama as Saejima-kun, Ayane Sakura as Otonashi, Shuugo Nakamura as Katori-kun, and Hiyori Nitta as Yukimin.
