Netflix has announced that the second season of The Way of the Househusband will premiere on the streaming platform in January 2023. The announcement was made at the company’s Tudum Japan livestream event. New scenes from the second season were also posted on the Netflix Anime Twitter page.
The main voice cast from season one are all reprising their respective roles. This includes Kenjirou Tsuda as Tatsu, Shizuka Itou as Miku, Kazuyuki Okitsu as Masa, Yoshimasa Hosoya as Torajirou, Atsuko Tanaka as Hibari Torii, M.A.O as Gin, Tomokazu Sugita as Bob, and Subaru Kimura as Gouda.
The production staff of The Way of the Househusband includes Chiaki Kon (Junjou Romantica) as director and Susumu Yamakawa (Back Street Girls: Gokudols) as series screenwriter. J.C.Staff is in charge of the animation production.
The anime is based on Kousuke Oono’s manga series of the same name, which was first serialized in Shinchosha’s Kurage Bunch online magazine on February 23, 2018. The series is published under the BUNCH COMICS label and has released 10 tankoubon volumes as of July 2022.

Netflix released the first season of The Way of the Househusband in two parts, with part one releasing in April 2021 and part two in October 2021. It describes the series as:
