Tomo-Chan is a Girl! Releases Character Intro Trailer and More Cast Info

A character intro trailer has been released for the Tomo-Chan is a Girl! anime adaptation, providing a look at the main characters and revealing Kouhei Amasaki and Yoshitsugu Matsuoka to be part of the cast.

Amasaki and Matsuoka are playing Kousuke Misaki and Tatsumi Tanabe respectively.

Tomo-Chan is a Girl! is set to premiere in January 2023. It is based on the Seikaisha-published manga by Fumita Yanagida, which began in 2015 and was serialized on the Twi4 Twitter account. It ended in 2019 with eight tankoubon volumes, which are published under the Seikaisha Comics label.

Seven Seas Entertainment describes the plot as:

Tomo and Jun have been best buds since they were little kids, but now that they’re in high school, Tomo wants to be more than friends…too bad Jun just sees her as ‘one of the guys.’ Tomo may be a tomboy, but she’s determined to prove to Jun that she’s a woman, too!
