A new PV trailer has been released for the upcoming second season of Uzaki-chan Wants To Hang Out!. The trailer features narration and new scenes from the second season, highlighting the series’ lead characters, Hana Uzaki and Shinichi Sakurai. The anime will premiere on October 1, 2022.
The production staff includes Miura Kazuya as director, Takashi Ooshima as series screenwriter, Manabu Kurihara as character designer and chief animation director, Satoshi Okubo (The Dungeon of Black Company assistant art director) as art director, Haruko Nobori (The Greatest Demon Lord Is Reborn as a Typical Nobody) as color designer, Yuusuke Yamamoto (PuraOre! Pride of Orange compositor) as photography director, Tokyo Logic’s Satoshi Igarashi as music composer. ENGI is the animation production company for the anime once again.
Other staff members consist of Yuri Morita, Tatsuya Yano (The Detective Is Already Dead), and Naoki Tani as additional music composers. Shinichi Fukumoto (Trapped in a Dating Sim: The World of Otome Games Is Tough for Mobs co-director) is assisting Kazuya with directorial duties. Masahiko Suzuki (Trapped in a Dating Sim: The World of Otome Games Is Tough for Mobs character designer) and Shinpei Koikawa (Phantasy Star Online 2: Episode Oracle character designer) are handling the chief animation direction for the series.
The main voice cast for the second season of Uzaki-chan Wants To Hang Out! includes Naomi Oozora as Hana Uzaki, Kenji Akabane as Shinichi Sakurai, Ayana Taketatsu as Ami Asai, Tomoya Takagi as Sakaki Itsuhito, Yousuke Akimoto as Akihiko Asai, Saori Hayami as Tsuki Uzaki, Seina Katou as Yanagi Uzaki, Hideo Ishikawa as Fujio Uzaki, Yuuko Sanpei as Kiri Uzaki, Miki Itou as Haruko Sakurai, and Tomokazu Sugita as Shirou Sakurai
Take’s original manga series was first serialized in Niconico Seiga’s Dra Dra Sharp website on December 1, 2017, under Fujimi Shobo’s Dragon Comics Age imprint. Nine tankoubon volumes have been released as of September 2022. Seven Seas Entertainment publishes the series in English for North America.

Crunchyroll streamed the first season in July 2020 and will do so again for the second season, as part of its Fall 2022 anime streaming lineup. It describes the anime’s synopsis as:
