Seven Seas Entertainment has announced the license acquisition of three new manga series: Please Go Home, Miss Akutsu!, I Didn’t Mean to Fall in Love, and My Girlfriend’s Child. The new manga titles range in the mature-rated seinen, Boys’ Love, and shoujo genre fields.

Here are the full details on Seven Seas’ latest licenses

Taichi Nagaoka’s Please Go Home, Miss Akutsu! manga series will be published in English for the first time under Seven Seas’ Ghost Ship imprint for mature readers. It is currently serialized in Young Ace UP magazine, starting from July 29, 2019.

The first volume will be released in April 2023 as single volume editions. It will be available for purchase on both print and digital platforms.

Seven Seas describes the manga as:

Timid Ooyama keeps to himself at school, and he certainly never gets involved with Akutsu Riko, a delinquent as buxom as she is notorious. But when she turns up at his apartment out of the blue, what’s he supposed to do, kick her out? She’s gorgeous! And scary! But things get complicated when Akutsu asks to stay the night, then starts turning up over and over again after school–reading Ooyama’s manga, sprawling out on his bed, and digging up his smut stash. Why exactly is she claiming his life as her hangout?! She makes it clear there’s no way she could possibly like him, but the teasing threatens to boil over into something more in this sexy yet adorable slice-of-life rom-com!

Another manga series set for release is Minta Suzumaru’s I Didn’t Mean to Fall in Love. The Boys’ Love manga ran in Mellow Kiss magazine from December 25, 2018 to August 23, 2019. One single tankoubon volume collecting six total chapters was released.

The manga will be released as a single large-trim edition in March 2023 under the Seven Seas BL label. An eBook will also be made available on various digital platforms.

The synopsis of I Didn’t Mean to Fall in Love is described as:

Yoshino knows, at the age of 30, that he wants to be with men, but he doesn’t know how to find one. When he overhears some women at work talking about a gay bar, he realizes that for some people, it’s just that easy. He thinks the flashy college student Rou is one of those people when Rou readily offers to have sex with him. But Yoshino finds himself falling for the charming young man, despite his best efforts. After all, it’s not possible to find Mr. Right by sleeping with the first man who offers, is it?

Mamoru Aoi’s romantic drama shoujo manga My Girlfriend’s Child will also be released for the first time in English. It was first launched in Kodansha’s Bessatsu Friend magazine on May 13, 2021.
