Yen Press To Release Mokumoku Ren’s The Summer Hikaru Died Manga

Yen Press has announced that it has licensed Mokumoku Ren’s Boys-Love supernatural mystery manga The Summer Hikaru Died (Hikaru Ga Shinda Natsu). More details about the series’ release date in English will be made at a later date. 

The news comes after the publisher’s most recent announcements of additional manga and light novel title acquisitions. 

The Summer Hikaru Died began serialization in Kadokawa’s Young Ace UP monthly seinen magazine on August 31, 2021. One tankoubon volume of the series has been released so far. 

Yen Press describes the manga’s story as:

Yoshiki and Hikaru did everything together…until Hikaru was encompassed by a mysterious light. That was when everything changed… Is there even a Hikaru left to be with?
