Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun Season 3 Casts Hiroki Yasumoto as Orobas Coco

Hiroki Yasumoto has joined the cast of the upcoming third season of Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun as Orobas Coco. It is scheduled to premiere on October 8, 2022. 

There will also be new opening and ending theme songs for the third season. Japanese male vocal group FANTASTICS from EXILE TRIBE is singing the opening theme “Girigiri Ride it out” while EDM group Wednesday Campanella are singing the ending theme “Nabe Bugyo.”

The main voice cast from previous seasons are all returning to reprise their roles. Additional voice actors for the third season will include Kishou Taniyama as General Furfur, Mariko Kouda as Lady Vepar, and Masami Iwasaki as Mr. Hat. Junko Takeuchi also joins the series as professor Bachiko Barbatos. 

The production team for the third season features many of the staff who worked on the previous seasons. Makoto Moriwaki (PriPara) is the director while Kazuyuki Fudeyasu (That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 2) serves as series screenwriter and script supervisor. Yumiko Hara (Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun season two co-character designer) is the character designer and Akimitsu Honma (Wotakoi: Love Is Hard for Otaku) is composing the musical score. Bandai Namco Pictures is the animation production company for the anime series.  

Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun is based on Osamu Nishi’s fantasy manga of the same name, which was first serialized in Akita Shoten’s Weekly Shounen Champion on March 2, 2017. 28 tankoubon volumes have been released as of August 8, 2022. Kodansha USA releases the manga series in English for North America. 

The first season aired from October 2019 to March 2020 and the second season aired from April to September 2021. Crunchyroll licensed the anime series and has streamed the first two seasons.

This time it’s the jungle!

Human boy Suzuki Iruma becomes “grandson” to the great demon Sullivan and begins attending demon school where “Grandpa” serves as chair. Winning friends — and rising in demon rank, too — Iruma thrives in his new environment, overcoming the harrowing ordeals thrown his way! In the new season, further challenges await… 

It’s harvest season, and time for the annual test where students wade into the expansive and extremely dangerous jungle to compete for food!! Classmates become rivals, and what erupts is a gargantuan battle of brawn and wits?
