Netflix To Stream Hunter x Hunter, Berserk (1997), Monster, & More Titles From Nippon TV

Netflix has announced that it will stream 13 anime series from Japanese television station Nippon TV, beginning September 2022. The streaming agreement is non-exclusive and will apply to over 100 countries and territories. 

Hunter x Hunter will be the first anime series to premiere on Netflix on September 1, 2022. The first 38 episodes can be viewed in numerous countries and territories, including Spain, Italy, Finland, Turkey, South Africa, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates. Other anime series that will be streamed on that date include Ouran High School Host Club in 190 countries and Claymore in 136 countries

More anime series will stream on Netflix at a later date, including NANA, the 1997 Berserk series, and Monster, based on Naoki Urasawa’s 1994 manga series of the same name. Other high-profile titles include:

  • • Death Note
  • • Death Note: Relight 1 (Death Note Relight – Visions of a God)
  • • Death Note: Relight 2 (Death Note Relight 2 – L’s Successors)
  • • From Me to You
  • • From Me to You 2nd Season
  • Parasyte -the maxim-
  • • Hajime no Ippo: The Fighting!

Titles in the Death Note series will be available to stream in 14 select countries and territories only.
