The Akiba Maid War original anime that was announced in June will begin on October 6 in Japan. A main trailer and key visual have been released, with the former previewing the show’s supporting cast.
The supporting cast members, who were newly announced, are Minami Tanaka as Yumechi, Tomoyo Kurosawa as Shippon, and Ayahi Takagaki as the owner of the Tontokoton maid cafe. The voice actor credit for Okachimachi, a panda costume-wearing individual described as being “more than a Kigurumi but less than a panda,” is officially listed as “???.”
Akiba Maid War is directed by Souichi Masui (Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai) with Yoshihiro Hiki as series composer and Manabu Nii (The Day I Became a God) as character designer. Other staff include Kouhei Honda as art director, Naomi Nakano (Sword Art Online the Movie -Progressive- Aria of a Starless Night) as color designer, Rumi Ishiguro (I’m Quitting Heroing: Next Gig Is at the Demon Queen’s Castle co- photography director) as photography director, and Yoshihiro Ike (takt op.Destiny) as music composer. P.A.Works is the animation production company, while Cygames is credited with the music production.
Meanwhile, the main cast members are Reina Kondou as Nagomi Wahira and Rina Satou as Ranko Mannen. a girl who comes to Tokyo with dreams of being a cute maid, while Ranko is a taciturn former maid who finds herself back in Akihabara.
