The production team for the upcoming third season of Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun has cast Naruto voice actress Junko Takeuchi as Babyls professor Bachiko Barbatos. The third season is set to premiere on October 8, 2022.
A new key visual featuring Iruma and the rest of his classmates was released last week.
Season three’s production team retains many of the staff members who worked on the first two seasons. Makoto Moriwaki (PriPara) serves as director after handling the role for previous seasons. Kazuyuki Fudeyasu (That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 2) is the series script supervisor and screenwriter. Yumiko Hara (Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun season two co-character designer) is the character designer and Akimitsu Honma (Wotakoi: Love Is Hard for Otaku) is composing the musical score again. Bandai Namco Pictures is the main animation production company after working on the first two seasons.
Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun is based on Osamu Nishi’s school fantasy manga series, which was first serialized in Kodansha’s Weekly Shounen Champion on March 2, 2017. 27 tankoubon volumes have been released as of August 2022.
The first season aired from October 2019 to March 2020, while the second season aired from April to September 2021. Crunchyroll licensed the anime series and currently streams the first two seasons in English.
NHK Enterprises describes the synopsis of the third season as:
